(Jaramillo) made the right move swinging him out wide and he responded. I’m very happy for the horse. He’s had a couple of tough beats.”
Yellow Card paid $8.40, $3.60 and $2.80. Sorrento Sky, ridden by Kazushi Kimura for trainer Phil D’Amato, returned $7.00 and $4.60. Virat, with Hector Berrios up for trainer Dan Blacker, paid $8.80.

It was not as planned, but he came through. “I have been in with Michael (McCarthy) since he first started. My wife Donna worked here, we owned horses together, and she passed away last year, so it is nice to get a good stakes win with this horse. She liked this horse.
