Winter Corgi Nationals Returns To Santa Anita Park Feb. 15 Featuring All-Day Corgi Races, Top-Class Thoroughbred Racing And Other Family Fun Entertainment

WINTER CORGI NATIONALS RETURNS TO SANTA ANITA PARK FEB. 15 FEATURING ALL-DAY CORGI RACES, TOP-CLASS THOROUGHBRED RACING AND OTHER FAMILY FUN ENTERTAINMENT

ARCADIA, CA (Feb. 2, 2026)— There will be more than just top-class horse racing at Santa Anita Park on Sunday, Feb. 15. Returning for another year to The Great Race Place on Presidents’ Day weekend is the wildly popular Winter Corgi Nationals featuring all-day Corgi races and an array of other fun activities for families and their special canine friends.

In the Winter Corgi Nationals, a total of 100 Corgis will compete to determine who is top dog. The action starts at 11 a.m. with the first of 10 heats that will be contested in Santa Anita’s expansive Infield. The top two finishers of each 10-dog heat will then advance to the semifinals. Both the semifinals and finals will be held during the horse racing program on Santa Anita’s famed main track in front of its historic grandstand.

"The Corgi Nationals at Santa Anita Park has become one of our most popular events, uniting passionate Corgi enthusiasts and horse racing fans,” said Andrew Arthur, Santa Anita’s Senior Director of Marketing. “We're proud to partner with SoCal Corgi Beach Day which has helped us grow to the point of having two events a year. We're looking forward to a series of races in the Infield with a Corgi-centric vendor village, food trucks, and of course, horse racing. The semi-finals and finals will be on the main track for all racing fans to enjoy."

A variety of ticket packages are available to come and enjoy the Winter Corgi Nationals at Santa Anita. General admission is only $10 and includes admission to the Corgi Nationals event, general parking, a horse racing program and horse racing tip sheet. A VIP Experience is also available for $55. It includes access to a VIP area with the best view of the races and also has a private bar, shade tents, tables & chairs and more.

Tickets can be purchased online at santaanita.com/events. Walk ups will be welcome the day of the event for $17. Kids 17 and under are free (does not include the VIP area).
