ARCADIA, CA (May 30, 2025)— There is a $48,869 carryover in Saturday’s $2 Pick Six at Santa Anita after no one successfully selected all six winners in Friday’s sequence at The Great Race Place. In addition, there is a $17,379 carryover in the Super High 5 for the 10th and final race Saturday. Track officials estimate the total Pick Six pool will reach $500,000.

Helping to trigger the carryover were three consecutive longshot winners in the final three races on Friday’s nine-race program. In the seventh race, Harcyn won under Geovanni Franco for trainer Samuel Calvario and paid $20.80. In the eighth race, Scary Fast Ride, trained by Sean McCarthy with Tyler Baze up, won and paid $26.60.

There were only two horses covered in the ninth and final race, Sexzie (4-1) and Lady Lollipop (6-1), with either resulting in a pool scoop with a victory. It did not happen, as Tavolara got up in time under Ricky Gonzalez for trainer Carla Gaines and paid $20.20.

The consolation payout for tickets with 5-of-6 winners paid $2,327.

The winning horses in Friday’s Pick Six beginning with the fourth race were #1 Cooling Off ($11.20), #5 La Ville Lumiere ($3), #6 Cupid’s Crusader ($5.80), #1 Harcyn ($20.80), #1 Scary Fast Ride ($26.60) and #8 Tavolara ($20.20).

First post Saturday is 1 p.m. and the Pick Six starts with the fifth race at 3:08 p.m. The sequence, which includes the GIII Triple Bend, averages 7.8 starters per race before scratches. Full entries for Saturday’s card are available at santaanita.com.
