ARCADIA, CA (Feb. 17, 2026)—Tickets are now on sale for Santa Anita Derby Day at Santa Anita Park on Saturday, April 4. One of the biggest events of the season at The Great Race Place, Santa Anita Derby Day features top-class Thoroughbred racing, Derby Day 5K run, Spring Carnival, Craft Beer Festival and much more.

The 89th running of the Grade I, $500,000 Santa Anita Derby will feature among the top 3-year-old Thoroughbred in the country battling for a top-level victory and a spot in the famed Triple Crown. Last year’s Santa Anita Derby winner, Journalism, went on to success in the Triple Crown by winning the Preakness Stakes and finishing second in both the Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes. Journalism was the 19th Santa Anita Derby winner to also win a Triple Crown race.

Other stakes to be on Santa Anita Derby Day are the Grade II Santa Anita Oaks, GIII Monrovia Stakes, and both the Echo Eddie Stakes and Evening Jewel Stakes for horses bred or sired in California.

To enjoy the day’s activities, both premium seating packages and general admission tickets are available. General admission is just $10 when tickets are purchased online in advance of event day. If a member of 1/ST Rewards, Santa Anita’s customer loyalty program, general admission is just $5 when purchased online. Walk-up general admission tickets will be $20 the day of the event.

For a higher-end experience, options include Premium Box Seats located on or near the finish line; and a premier outdoor dining experience at Silks Premium with views of the track and personal TVs.
