Additionally, overnight purses will be up from a year ago across many categories. This includes maiden races, which this year will be run for a purse of $65,000 as compared to $60,000 in 2025.

"We've assembled a stakes schedule that offers quality opportunities across every division, highlighted by seven Breeders' Cup Challenge 'Win and You're In' races that provide direct pathways to the World Championships,” said Jason Egan, Santa Anita’s Director of Racing and Racing Secretary. “Combined with purse increases over the 2025 Autumn Meet, we're making a significant investment in our racing program and in the participants who make it possible.

“We believe this schedule rewards commitment, encourages participation at every level, and reinforces Santa Anita's position as a premier destination for championship-caliber racing this fall. We look forward to welcoming our owners, trainers, jockeys and their teams for what promises to be an outstanding Autumn Meet."
