ARCADIA, CA (Oct. 8, 2025)—A combined $184,186 in carryover money will be up for grabs Friday at Santa Anita between the $2 Pick Six ($45,583), $1 Sunset Pick Six ($54,236), $1 Coast-to-Coast Pick 5 ($45,583) and $1 Super High 5 ($35,706). First post is 1 p.m. PT for a nine-race card.

The $2 Pick Six kicks off with the fourth race at 2:31 p.m. The competitive sequence averages 7.8 starters per race and includes three allowance races and an open maiden event at six furlongs on dirt. Track officials estimate the total Pick Six pool will exceed $300,000.

The $1 Sunset Pick Six is a new wager offered at the Santa Anita Autumn Meet that combines the final three races from Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park. Friday’s sequence starts at 1:04 p.m. with the eighth race from Gulfstream Park.

The Sunset Pick Six features a player-friendly 15 percent takeout rate and is open to retail players only. It also has no consolation payout, which means 100 percent of the net pool carries over to the next day the wager is offered. On Sunday, the Sunset Six went unsolved for the third consecutive day leading to the five-figure carryover.

The $1 Coast-to-Coast Pick 5 Friday starts at 1:35 p.m. with the eighth race from Gulfstream. The Coast-to-Coast Pick 5 tasks bettors with picking the winners of five select races from Santa Anita and Gulfstream Park. Like the Sunset Six, it also has a 15 percent takeout rate, no consolation payout and is open to retail players only.

Friday’s Coast-to-Coast sequence also includes the 10thand 11th races from Gulfstream and the third and fourth races from Santa Anita.

The $1 Super High 5 will be offered on Santa Anita’s ninth and final race. Post time is scheduled for 5:03 p.m. In the Super High 5, bettors are tasked with selecting the top five finishers in exact order.

Friday’s ninth race an allowance/optional claimer for statebreds going one mile on turf. It has a field of nine entered plus one also-eligible. The 2-1 favorite on the morning line is Winning Patriot, who was a troubled second in a similar event on Aug. 30 at Del Mar. Winning Patriot will have Ricky Gonzalez aboard for trainer Carla Gaines.

Every Friday during the Autumn Meet, on-track fans receive free parking and admission plus 50 percent off select beers and cocktails. For more information including full race entries for Friday’s card, please visit santaanita.com
