ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 23, 2018)–Although Friday’s eighth and final race came to a formful conclusion with 2-1 favorite Acker winning comfortably, there is a Pick Six carryover into Saturday at Santa Anita of $62,734.  With a 10-race card on tap, Santa Anita officials project Saturday’s total Pick Six pool will exceed $250,000.

Bob Baffert’s Samba Inc, a Group I winner in her native Argentina, will be making her U.S. debut in the Wishing Well and has been installed as the 5-2 morning line favorite.  A 4-year-old filly by Include, she’ll be ridden by Flavien Prat.

With 59 horses entered and eligible to run in Saturday’s Pick Six, field size stands at 9.5 runners per race.
