ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2016)–With no one tabbing six winners on Saturday, there is a Pick Six carryover of $67,281 into Sunday’s racing at Santa Anita. With the Pick Six covering races four through nine, track officials estimate Sunday’s total Pick Six pool will exceed $250,000.
Sunday’s main event is the $70,000 Speakeasy Stakes for 2-year-olds at six furlongs and it has been carded as the fifth race. Minus several early scratches, a total of 60 horses are now expected to compete in the Pick Six sequence, or, an average of 10 runners per race.
First post time at Santa Anita on Sunday is at 12:30 p.m., PST. Race four, leg one in the Pick Six, is slated to go at approximately 2 p.m.
