ARCADIA, Calif. (June 14, 2019)–For the 30th consecutive racing day, Santa Anita’s popular 20 cent Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six remained elusive today, resulting in a Jackpot carryover into Saturday of $1,194,985.

With a CHRB-approved mandatory payout set, it’s expected Sunday’s total Jackpot pool could easily reach $5 million.

Friday’s Rainbow Six generated $147,155 in “new” money, helping to create a total Rainbow Six pool of $1,308,449.

Although there was so Single Ticket Jackpot winner today, there were 53 consolation tickets with six winners, each worth $1,476.30.

Approximate post time for Saturday’s fourth race, leg one in the Rainbow Six, is at 2:31 p.m. PT.

Saturday’s nine-race program will be highlighted by the $100,000 Thor’s Echo Stakes, which has been slotted as race eight. Harris Farms’ homebred Desert Law, trained by Carla Gaines and to be ridden by Rafael Bejarano, has been installed as the 9-5 morning line favorite among a field of seven California-bred or sired horses going six furlongs.
