ARCADIA, Calif. (May 27, 2019)–Santa Anita’s Memorial Weekend finished strong, as the track offered three Grade I stakes as part of a 10-race program Monday and at the end of the day, the popular 20 cent Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot went unsolved for the 22nd consecutive racing day, resulting in a Jackpot carryover into Friday of $869,976.
With $372,479 in “new” money wagered, Monday’s total Jackpot pool crested the $1 million mark, reaching $1,157,174. Although there was no Single Ticket winner, there were 24 consolation tickets with six, each worth $8,291.10.
Santa Anita will offer simulcast wagering on tracks across the country on Thursday, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Grandstand Paddock Room. Free parking and admission are also offered and on Fridays, Santa Anita offers free Club House and General Admission, as well as free General Parking.
First post time for an eight-race card on Friday is at 1 p.m. and approximate post time for Friday’s third race, the beginning of the Rainbow Six, is at 2 p.m. PT.
