ARCADIA, Calif. (April 28, 2019)–There is a Single Ticket Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot carryover of $293,239 into Friday at Santa Anita and with the Grade I Kentucky Oaks and other big races coming in via simulcast, there figures to be heightened interest in Santa Anita’s popular 20 cent minimum wager.
Sunday’s Rainbow Six, which generated $176,818 in “new” money, by fourth race post time and although there was no single ticket winner, the total pool of $429,580 fueled a payoff on 32 consolation tickets of $2,928.60 each.
With an eight-race card on tap Friday, approximate post time race three, the beginning of the Rainbow Six, is at 2 p.m. PT.
Fans are advised that Santa Anita is open at 10 a.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday for simulcast wagering in the Grandstand Paddock Room. Admission and parking are free.
Club House and General Admission, as well as General Parking, are also free on Friday. Additionally, Santa Anita offers fans 21 and over two dollar draft beers and six dollar Specialty Cocktails, sponsored by Woodford Reserve, each Friday.
