BOLO WINS SHOEMAKER MILE AND EARNS AUTOMATIC BERTH INTO BREEDERS’ CUP MILE

 Golden Pegasus Racing’s 7-year-old gelding Bolo, winner of today’s Shoemaker Mile (G1) at Santa Anita Park, becomes the third horse to qualify for the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) on turf in 2019 through the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series, joining Do It Again (SAF), winner of the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate in South Africa & Tamburo Di Oro  (CHI), who won yesterday’s Gran Premio Club Hipico Falabella (G1) in Santiago, Chile.

The Breeders’ Cup World Championships will be run at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California on Nov. 1-2.
