$80,000 SWINGTIME STAKES QUOTES

JOCKEY QUOTES

JUAN HERNANDEZ, VIBEZ, WINNER: “I always like this filly. I broke her maiden. She was a nice filly, but I didn’t have the opportunity to ride her the last three or four races. I got the opportunity to rider her again and we won. I was telling Peter, she was there for me the whole time. She broke quick and I was able to put myself in a good spot. She was running really well. I was just waiting for the quarter pole to make my move. She was there for me the whole time.”

TRAINER QUOTES

PETER EURTON, VIBEZ, WINNER: “It was no surprise. She’s been doing so well for so long now. She had just been getting bad post positions her last few starts and always has an excuse. Her last race was pretty dominant. I was afraid we might be coming back a little too quick, but it worked out fine.”

OWNER QUOTES

RICK EXLINE, EXLINE-BORDER RACING, VIBEZ, WINNER: “It’s great, it had been a while. We weren’t sure what we had in this horse but obviously very encouraged by her last couple of performances. “It is very exciting. Peter has done such a great job with this horse, as he does with all our horses. J.J.’s ride today could not have been better. The trip was good, we got over and got in the right spot. J.J brought her home, we had a lot of horse.”

NOTES: The winning owners are breeders Ciaglia Racing LLC and Exline-Border Racing LLC and partners Richard Hausman and Garett Zubok.
