Handicapping, in short, refers to analyzing the race to come up with best predicted outcome, or pick. There are many angles when it comes to picking a winner. Using some of the help from the professional handicappers below, you can determine your own angle on placing a bet. For more information on how to bet or wager, click here.

Sunday’s program offers a $96,562 Pick-6 carryover and it’s worth going after.

The opener is a five-runner field with a 3/5 morning line favorite, #5 Kafister. First off the claim for Hollendorfer, switching to Bejarano and landing the cozy outside post, the Kafwain gelding loves this track and is simply faster than his four rivals. There’s no value here so let’s pass.

The Saturday program begins with a stronger-than-average maiden $50,000 claiming sprint for 3-year-old fillies. #5 Big Break has trained quite well for her debut and looks extremely live for Sherman. We’ll prefer her on top but in rolling exotic play we’ll also include #2 Roman Wild, another first-timer with a solid series of drills for a stable (Mullins) that does quite well with debut runners.

The second race, a downhill turf sprint for 3-year-old fillies, appears to be an ideal spot for #2 Suchi Empire.

A whopping $115,862 adds spice to a Thursday program that looks reasonably playable.

The opener should be won by either #4 Ya Wanna Hug or #2 Farmers Wife and both are worth including in rolling exotic play. Ya Wanna Hug tries two turns for the first time and looks easily like the controlling speed; she may not want to run this far but if she’s ever going to stay a middle distance it will be today. Farmers Wife is the most dangerous of the closers; she’s a first-off-the-claim for Carava and if there is a pace meltdown she’ll benefit greatly.

The Sunday program begins with a maiden special weight two-turner for 3-year-olds that has two main contenders and little else. #1 Rprettyboyfloyd and #6 Party Time both exit the same race and are hard to separate, though the latter, with only two career starts, may have a bit more room to improve. Let’s pass the race and wait for better opportunities.

An excellent Saturday program begins with a competitive mid-grade claiming sprint. #4 Peacenik disappointed when perhaps not caring for the wet fast surface last time out but he remains above his claim level so Spawr must still like him. We’ll give him a chance to make amends. #3 Muchos Besos, first off the claim for Lewis, has always liked this main track and will be doing his best work late. Both should be included in rolling exotic play.
