GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS ON SALE FOR BREEDERS' CUP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS AT SANTA ANITA PARK
Tickets Available Online for 30th running of Horse Racing’s Premier International Event, Nov. 1-2
LOS ANGELES (Oct. 2, 2013) – General admission tickets are now available for purchase for the 30th running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Nov. 1 and 2 at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, CA at http://www.breederscup.com/tickets.
The Breeders’ Cup, Thoroughbred racing’s most prestigious international event, attracts the best horses, trainers and owners from across the globe. The two-day event consists of 14 races with purses and awards totaling more than $27 million, and culminates with the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic, shown live in primetime on NBC.
Advanced online General Admission prices: $10 for Championship Friday and $25 for Championship Saturday. Patrons can print tickets at home and bring them to the track for admission.
General Admission prices at the gate: $15 for Championship Friday and $40 for Championship Saturday. All fans attending the Breeders’ Cup will receive a complimentary official Breeders’ Cup World Championships track program. Fans may purchase general admission tickets online until midnight (PT) on Thursday, Oct. 31
General Admission tickets on Saturday, November 2 grant fans access to live musical entertainment, a beer garden, and a special infield festival featuring more than 30 of Los Angeles’s best food trucks. Food trucks include popular offerings such as The Grilled Cheese Truck, Lobsta Truck, The Greasy Weiner, Ragin Cajun, Border Grill, Paradise Cookies, Mustache Mikes, Komodo, Don Chow Tacos, Tropical Islands/Papas & Dogs and many more. “Based on the high demand for advanced ticket purchases that we’ve seen so far, we anticipate great crowds at Santa Anita Park on Championship Friday and Saturday,” said Craig Fravel, Breeders’ Cup President and CEO. “Fans from around the world will enjoy an unparalleled experience with world-class racing, entertainment and hospitality at one of our sport’s most iconic venues.”
