SANTA ANITA, DAILY RACING FORM COMBINE FORCES; GREAT RACE PLACE, AMERICA’S TURF AUTHORITY ANNOUNCE AGGRESSIVE 2012 MARKETING CAMPAIGN
ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 4, 2012)—Santa Anita Park and Daily Racing Form announced on Wednesday that they will be entering into a joint marketing campaign for 2012 that will result in more guaranteed pools, bonus past performances, top handicapping content, seminars and expanded Pick Six carryover coverage during Santa Anita’s winter/spring meet which runs through April 22.
The newly announced marketing campaign will also include a guaranteed Late Pick Four on the biggest days throughout the season and all Pick Six carryovers will be sponsored by DRF TicketMaker.
Daily Racing Form will also provide special Santa Anita event pages with late-breaking news and cutting-edge handicapping information available to all fans at DRF.com.
“We’re excited to be working with Daily Racing Form and we feel these various initiatives are going to be of great benefit to all of our customers,” said Santa Anita CEO Greg Avioli. “This is a good example of two of the largest entities in racing working together on a level that creates significant added value for our shared fan base—nationwide.”
"Daily Racing Form has proven it can grow handle and event awareness by using all its marketing and media resources across print and electronic platforms," said John J. Hartig, CEO of Daily Racing Form. "We couldn't be more pleased with this partnership and the opportunity to expand the great racing at Santa Anita to a broader audience."
