ARCADIA, Calif. (June 3, 2014)–Santa Anita Park’s seventh annual “Santa Anita Uncorked” wine and culinary festival will complement what could be one of the biggest days in racing history this Saturday, Belmont Stakes Day, as the racing world will be transfixed on the prospect of California-bred California Chrome seeking to become the first Triple Crown winner in 36 years.
“To be able to welcome people to ‘Santa Anita Uncorked’ on such an incredible day is absolutely fantastic,” said Candace Coder Chew, Santa Anita’s Director of Print and Graphics. “The enthusiasm for ‘Uncorked’ has grown steadily over the past six years and to now be able to incorporate it into the fabric of such an incredible day is a terrific opportunity for all of us. It’s going to be a great day.”
The event will be hosted in Santa Anita’s trackside Club Court enclosure, on the east end of the Grandstand beginning at 12 noon. “Santa Anita Uncorked” will begin at 12 noon and will feature a wide array of boutique and hand-picked wine selections, cuisine sampling from 25 popular local restaurants, an art exhibit and a tremendous day of racing that will include the Belmont and several other graded stakes from New York along with an outstanding 11-race card at Santa Anita.
“Santa Anita Uncorked” is available to everyone, “food only” tickets are available to those under 21. All adult attendees will receive the following:

Tickets are $60.00 each and can be purchased online at santaanita.com, or at the Santa Anita ticket office. Sponsored by the Wine of the Month Club, “Santa Anita Uncorked” will offer attendees a great cross section of outstanding cuisine from 25 high-end restaurants and will be supported by 25 wineries.
