SANTA ANITA PICK SIX CARRYOVER OF $53,424 INTO SUNDAY AS TRACK OFFICIALS PROJECT SUNDAY’S TOTAL PICK SIX POOL WILL EXCEED $300,000

 

ON-TRACK CROWD OF 23,795 TURN OUT ON KENTUCKY DERBY DAY AT THE GREAT RACE PLACE

 

                ARCADIA, Calif. (May 6, 2017)–With a Kentucky Derby Day on-track crowd of 23,795 on-hand Saturday at Santa Anita, no one correctly tabbed all six winners in the track’s popular Pick Six, creating a Pick Six carryover of $53,424 into Sunday at The Great Race Place.  Additionally, there is a Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot carryover of $20,416 into Sunday as well.

With a nine-race card on tap for Sunday, track officials project Sunday’s total Pick Six pool will exceed $300,000.

First post time on Sunday is scheduled for 1 p.m., with admission gates opening at 11 a.m.  The Pick Six will cover races four through nine and approximate post time for race four is 2:30 p.m. PT.

Note:  Saturday’s Kentucky Derby Day on-track crowd of 23,795 was up 1,100 people from a year ago.
