HRTV HONORED WITH FIVE 2014 OHIO VALLEY REGIONAL EMMY AWARDS

“Inside Information” Documentary & Steve Scheidler Feted Twice in Annual Ceremony

Arcadia, CA, August 4, 2014 — HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, was honored with five 2014 Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards at the 50th annual Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Award ceremony at the Hilton Columbus Downtown in Columbus, OH on Saturday, August 2.

HRTV’s acclaimed “Inside Information” documentary received two Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards in the “Sports – One Time Special” designation for its “Inside Information: Dancer’s Image” and “Inside Information: The Rivalry, Part 1” shows. The network’s Steve Scheidler earned his third Regional Emmy in the “Editor – Program” category, and garnered his first in the “Graphic Arts” division.

Additionally, “The Big Cats of Carson Springs” merited an Emmy in the “Human Interest – Program” classification.

It is HRTV’s fourth consecutive win in the “Sports – One-Time Special” category and its fifth in the past six years. Scheidler, who serves as the primary editor and a producer on the “Inside Information” series, received his first Emmy in the “Editor” grouping in 2011.

This year’s five Regional Emmy awards brings HRTV’s overall total to 18 in its history.

HRTV received seven 2014 Ohio Valley Regional Emmy nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences of the Ohio Valley, and has received 35 overall Emmy nominations.
