ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 3, 2018)–Heavily favored Itsinthepost hit the front with a quarter mile to run and somehow repelled the late challenge of longshot Hayabusa One to take Saturday’s Grade II, $200,000 San Marcos Stakes by a nose under Tyler Baze.  Trained by Jeff Mullins, the 6-year-old French-bred gelding got a mile and a quarter on turf in 1:58.24.
