SANTA ANITA SINGLE TICKET PICK SIX JACKPOT IS HIT FOR $175,066.80; SINGLETON PURCHASED THROUGH ELITE TURF CLUB FOR AN AS-YET UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT

 

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2018)–With a modest carryover of $31,694 coming into today’s Pick Six at Santa Anita, $210,542 in “new money” was wagered, helping to create a total Pick Six pool of $249,027, that also included a Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot carryover of $6,791.

Despite the fact Friday’s ninth and final race was taken by 8-5 post time favorite Mizzen Glory, there was just one winning Pick Six ticket and it was worth $175,066.80.  The ticket was purchased for an as-yet undisclosed sum through Elite Turf Club, a wagering hub based in Maryland.

Friday’s Pick Six, which began with race four, was won by even money favorite Miz Tianjin, who paid $4.00 to win.  The fifth race went to Dukes Up, who was off at 5-2 and paid $7.80 to win.  Race six went to 8-5 favorite Easter Morn, who paid $5.20.  The seventh race was won by longshot Gray Admiral, who was off at 10-1 and paid $22.40 to win.  Show It N Moe It, off at 4-1, took the eighth race and paid $10.60 to win.

Winning numbers in Friday’s Pick Six were 3-4-1-3-2-6.
