Tribal Dreams has done very well in his career to date, winning 4 of 8 and finishing 2nd in two others, including a pair of wins and a 2nd place finish from 3 previous starts at Santa Anita. If you toss out his last effort, which is easy to do as it was at the 20K level and at Fairplex, he should run as well as he did right before that when missing by a neck after leading late at this level at Del Mar, and now in the hands of a sharp trainer off a private change, one who wins with ¼ of his starters, this gelding looks very tough to beat.

What’s for Dinner won at this level one before last, beating the top pick by a head in the process, then finished 3rd at the 20K level at Fairplex. He broke his maiden here at Santa Anita in February and with Gryder getting on and back at his competitive level he should be in the thick of the action.
