Handicapping Picks for 12/29/2011

Race #6 - Rating = 3
#2 Way too Much - Fair odds 5/2
#7 My Boy Luke - Fair odds 5/2

With up to FIVE of the 11 entered bent on having the lead from the start and at any cost, Way too Much has a big shot to earn career win #11 in his 34th career main track race. He finished 3rd on the Tapeta at GG in his last two, versus much tougher, as the 10K level up north is much higher than the 8k bottom level in So. Cal., and he missed by a half length when 2nd at this distance in his ONLY try at SA before that, an effort that wins here if repeated. My Boy Luke also ran his best race the last time he ran here at SA, three back on 10/6, winning by a half length. Not disgraced after that when a neck from 2nd and ¾ of a length from the win, he had a troubled trip at this level last out at HOL and with Rosario staying aboard and up for his last win he’s got a fine shot to return to form good enough to win.
