Fifth Dimension rallied from 10th of 11 to win nicely and in spite of having to wait for a path to run last out on 10/10 on this course versus tougher 50 K claimers and still eligible for this NW1X allowance level and making his 2nd start off the Spawr claim and 2nd off a rest so likely to be stronger still he’s the one to beat.

Utopian tried turf and two turns for the first time this year last out off a sprint win and finished a decent 4th of 11, just a nose from 3rd. The runner-up came back to win his next start and so he’s likely to improve as well to be a strong factor at the end.

Yodelen Dan is a veteran with 16 wins and 26 1st or 2nd place finishes in 51 races, 19 for 33 1st or 2nd on turf including a pair of wins in June and July. His comeback on 9/30 from 2 months off wasn’t that great BUT he drops back to the 40K level of his last win today and loves this mile trip so has a big shot to rebound to competitive form.

Donato gets the ground saving rail and moves back to turn after a poor effort on dirt, having won at this NW1X level on turf three back in August, so in today for the Optional 40K claiming price in order to try to win again. With Pat V getting on and with another big effort on 6/4 at this mile turf trip that would make him competitive in this situation if repeated, Donato rounds out a strong quartet of contenders.
