Breeders' Cup 2012 Volunteers

Dear Community Leader:
We are looking for volunteers who can help make 2012 Breeders' Cup the best one ever!
Santa Anita Park has been honored by Breeders' Cup to host its sixth Breeders' Cup on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3. This will be the 29 anniversary of this very special event, which is known as the Super Bowl of Thoroughbred horse racing.
It is a great opportunity to be involved with an exciting world class event and give something back to your community. Breeders' Cup will make donations to a variety of national and local charities that will benefit our immediate community.
Between now and October 1, we will be lining up 300-plus volunteers who can fulfill a variety of duties, ranging from meeting and greeting patrons outside and inside the gates, helping, with credentials and lanyards, answering questions, hosting public and private areas of the racetrack, working with shuttle bus patrons in our parking lots and escorting guests and VIP's throughout the grounds.
Volunteers will be asked to work a minimum of one day. They will also attend a mandatory orientation meeting October 27 at 8:00 AM. At this session, which will take no longer than ninety minutes, volunteers will be given their assignments, a parking credential, apparel items, a tour of the assigned area and the opportunity to ask questions.
I would like to ask you to distribute the attached Breeders' Cup Volunteer Questionnaire and return it to me at Santa Anita Park as soon as possible. You can mail it, fax it or email it to:
